Our Services

A Person-Centred Approach

We take into account each person’s individual history and goals, and our multi-disciplinary team work closely with each person to tailor a care and support programme that best meets their needs.

Our programmes offer opportunities for motivational enhancement, psycho-education, dietetic / nutritional rehabilitation (supervised by a specialist dietician), development of emotional coping skills, independent living skills, social skills, adaptive future lifestyle skills and recreational activities.

After appropriate risk assessments are carried out residents are actively encouraged to get involved in the local community, whether it is joining groups, volunteering, or returning to education, employment or training; engaging with life beyond their eating disorder,

Nursing Care

24/7 Nursing Care and on-call medical cover with high staff to patient ratio.

Residential Care

Rehabilitation with individualised sessions with clinical psychologist, counsellor and dieticians.

Transitional Living

Support to live independently and engage with life beyond the eating disorder.

Bramacare Community

Offering a range of day care services for the benefit of local residents in Ipswich and across East Anglia.

Mental Capacity

All our residents attend informally, with or without a Community Treatment Order (CTO) in place. Throughout their stay, therefore, it is essential that each person retains the capacity to be involved in decisions regarding their care and can give their consent.
