How to Refer to Bramacare

At The White House, we understand the challenges faced by individuals requiring specialized care and the healthcare professionals supporting them. We are here to provide a supportive referral process, ensuring that every step is handled with care and professionalism. Our dedicated team is committed to partnering with you to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible.

Referrals to Bramacare can only be made by healthcare professionals. If you would like to make a referral, the process is simple. Begin by completing the referral form click here. Our team will acknowledge receipt and guide you through the next steps. Should you have any questions or need further clarification about the process, our support team is available to assist you.

We do not accept direct referrals from patients, but we are happy to assist with any questions they or their families may have about engaging a healthcare professional to facilitate the referral. Upon receipt of the referral form, our team will arrange an assessment with the patient within 7 days. Following the assessment, we will promptly contact you to communicate the outcome. 
 
If the patient is deemed suitable for admission, an admission care plan will be provided within 7 days. In cases where the patient is not suitable for admission, we will offer clear guidance, including signposting to alternative services or advising on the next steps to ensure appropriate support. 
 
The referee may submit the care plan to the relevant funding panel or local Integrated Care Board (ICB) for approval. We understand that navigating the funding process can be challenging, which is why our team is committed to providing clear guidance and dedicated support. From addressing questions about the admission care plan to assisting with funding applications, we aim to make the process straightforward and manageable.
